Email Broadcast Questions and Answers

Q: Do I need an email list to get started with email marketing ?
A: Yes, you will need to import your own email list into the system. We have features that can import your email lists conveniently and quickly from Gmail, Outlook, Live Mail, Hotmail, and Yahoo. Alternatively, you can upload your email lists through an XLS format.

Q: How do I design my emails ? Do I need to know HTML ?
A: You can choose to use our built-in editor to design your email, it’s simple to use and you don’t need to know HTML at all! Or, you can also get any ready-to-use templates from the internet or other websites to use for your e-mail campaign. Otherwise, you can also use your designed newsletter from any DOC file.

Q: What is the email sending rate ?
A: We have a flat rate which is 1 credit per email sending for unlimited text and graphic.

Q: How many emails can I send?
A: You can send out around 100,000 emails per day. However, you can send a request to us to increase the daily sending quota

Q: Can I schedule my emails instead of sending manually ?
A: Yes, you can create a campaign and set the date and time your wish your emails to be sent out and Autobot will send it automatically for you.

Q: How does Autobot avoid sending emails to spam and backscatter ?
A: Every new created or imported contact will be verified before it can be allowed to receive your emails. If any email exceeds the verification period, the email will be put on standby and you won’t be able to send any emails to the recipient until they have properly verified their emails.

Q: What makes Autobot email marketing so special ?
A: All contacts’ email addresses goes through the three steps validation process of syntax, domain verification and DNS response validation. This is to ensure the validity of with a good degree of certainty.

(A) Creating a E-mail Broadcast

Step 1: Click on the Campaigns tab.

Step 2: Click on E-mail Broadcast.

Step 3: Click on Create New.

Step 4: Set the E-mail Broadcast title.

Step 5: Write the E-mail message for your customers you want them to see.

Step 6: Set the time and date the message will be sent.

Step 7: Select the Contact Groups the broadcast will be sent to*.
* Refer to Creating a Contact Group if you have not created a Contact Group.

Step 8: Select the email you wish to be notified from.

Step 9: Click Create.

(B) Viewing a Report of a E-mail Broadcast.

Step 1: In the E-mail Broadcast page, click on Report on a E-mail Broadcast. You will see a table appear below the page. That is the Report.

(C) Modifying a E-mail Broadcast.

Step 1: In the E-mail Broadcast page, Click on Modify on a E-mail Broadcast.

Step 2: Modify as needed.

Step 3: Click Update.

(D) Deleting a E-mail Broadcast

Step 1: In the E-mail Broadcast page, Click on Delete on a E-mail Broadcast.

Step 2: Confirm deletion.

 (E) Google Analytics Integration  

You need register a Google Analaytics account in order to retrieve the Tracking ID to paste into theAutobot system in “Organization” > “Setting” as screen below:

If you do not have any idea about the Google Analytics Tracking ID. Please login to Google Analytics account, follow the screen below. Click the “Settings” on bottom left, and navigate to “Property” to get the Tracking ID.

After you have everything set, you will be able to access Google Anaytics: Real-Time Event Report to see how many user is clicking on your campaign.

You will also be able to access Google Analytics: Details Event Report in the “Behavior” menu.

SMS Broadcast Questions and Answers.

Q: What kind of SMS gateway does Autobot uses ?
A: We use shortcode SMS gateway which has higher delivery rate compared to longcode SMS gateway.

Q: Can Autobot handle sending large amounts of SMS ?
A: Yes, we can handle up to 56,000 SMS sendings per day. However you can send a request to us to increase the daily sending quota.

Q: Which telecommunications company does Autobot support ?
A: Autobot supports all telecommunications companies and GSM networks in Malaysia.

Q: What is the cost of sending to Malaysia mobile number? A: Malaysia phone number will cost 1 credit per SMS.

Q: How much does it cost if I wish to send an SMS internationally ?
A: International sending cost is 2 credits per SMS.

Q: Will my credit be deducted if I send an SMS to an invalid mobile number ?
A: Yes, if you sent a message to an invalid number, your credits will be deducted. The mobile number should comes with +6 country code (for example +60123339999). We are not responsible for any failed sent SMS caused by any telecommunication companies. However, if the SMS fails to reach any number, our system will try to resend the message up to 3 times without charging extra credits. It is recommended thay you clean up the phone database from time to time to remove any invalid or old phone numbers.

Q: What if I keep on sending a lot of SMS to invalid numbers? It’s not a fair to us as a customer.
A: The credit will be deducted once the SMS is sent. However, we provide an invalid SMS report for you to manage all the invalid number and do the clean up.

Q: Do I have expiration date for my SMS credits?
A: No, Your SMS credits will never expired.

Q: Does the SMS supports Chinese characters ?
A: Yes, we support Chinese (simplified/traditional) characters.

Q: How many letters can I send in a SMS ?
A: For every 1 credit, you can send up to 140 letters and numbers in Latin alphabets or 60 characters in non-Latin alphabets (eg: Chinese, Japanese). If your message contains both Latin and non-Latin alphabets, you can send up to 60 characters/letters per credit.

Q: Can I request to refund any remaining credits if I terminate my SMS system account ?
A: We do not refund any credits but you can use all of your remaining credits.

Q: Will the recipients be guaranteed to receive their SMS ?
A: We do not guarantee 100% of success rate. However the shortcode gateway has an approximately 97% of delivery rate which is far more higher than a longcode SMS gateway.

Step 4: Write the SMS message for your customers you want them to see.

Step 5: Set the time and date the message will be sent.

Step 6: Select the Contact Groups the broadcast will be sent to*.
* Refer to Creating a Contact Group if you have not created a Contact Group.

Step 7: Select the email you wish to be notified from.

Step 8: Click Create.

(A) Creating a Really365 Relationship Campaign

Step 1: Click on the Campaigns tab.                

Step 2: Click on Really365.

Step 3: In the Really365 tab, click on Create New.

Step 4: Select Type as Relationship Auto-Launcher.

Step 5: Choose Campaign Method.

Step 6: Select Language for message.

Step 7: Edit the Label as you wish.

Step 8: Select the Contact Groups the campaign will affect*.
*Refer to Creating Contact Groups if you have not made a Contact Group.

Step 9: Select the email that the campaign will send its reports to.

Step 10: Click Create.

(B) Modifying a Really365 Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 1: In the Really365 tab, click on Modify on a Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 2: Modify the content as neeeded.

Step 3: Click Update.

(C) Deleting a Really365 Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 1: In the Really365 tab, click on Delete on a Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 2: Confirm Deletion.

(D) Creating a Content for a Really365 Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 1: In the Really365 page, Click on Contents of a Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 2: When in the Content page, click on Create New.

Step 3: Set the title of your Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 4: Write the message in you wish to your customer to see in a SMS*.
* If chosen campaign method includes SMS

Step 5: Write the message you wish your customer to see in an email*.
* If chosen campaign method includes E-mail.

Step 6: Set number of days and time for the message to be sent to your customers**.
**The customers will recieve the message after the amount of days passed. Eg 90 means after 90 days the customer will receive the message.

Step 7: Select the email the campaign will send its reports to.

Step 8: Click Create.

(E) Modifying a Content of a Really365 Customer Relationship Campaign

Step 1: In the Contents page in a Really365 Customer Relationship Campaign, click on Modify.

Step 2: Modify the content as you wish.

Step 3: Click Update.

(F) Deleting a Content of a Really365 Customer Relationship Campaign.

Step 1: In the Contents page in a Really365 Customer Relationship Campaign, click on Delete.

Step 2: Confirm deletion.

(A) Creating a Really365 Holiday Celebration Campaign

Step 1: Click on the Campaigns tab.                

Step 2: Click on Really365.

Step 3: In the Really365 tab, click on Create New.

Step 4: Select Type as Holiday Auto-Celebration.

Step 5: Choose Method.

Step 6: Select Language for message.

Step 7: Edit the Label as you wish.

Step 8: Select the Contact Groups the campaign will affect*.
*Refer to Creating Contact Groups if you have not made a Contact Group.

Step 9: Select the email that the campaign will send its reports to.

Step 10: Click Create.

(B) Modifying a Really365 Holiday Celebration Campaign.

Step 1: In the Really365 tab, click on Modify on a Holiday Celebration Campaign.

Step 2: Modify the content as needed.

Step 3: Click Update.

(C) Deleting a Really365 Holiday Celebration Campaign.

Step 1: In the Really365 tab, click on Delete on a Holiday Celebration Campaign.

Step 2: Confirm deletion.

(D) Creating a Content for a Really365 Holiday Celebration Campaigns.

Step 1: In the Really365 page, click on Contents of a Holiday Celebration Campaigns.

Step 2: When in the Content page, click on Create New. Or, Modify one of the preset Holiday Celebrations in the list, refer straight to (E).

Step 3: Name the new holiday event. E.g Valentines.

Step 4: Write the message in you wish to your customer to see in a SMS*.
* If chosen campaign method includes SMS.

Step 5: Write the message you wish your customer to see in an e-mail*.
* If chosen campaign method includes E-mail.

Step 6: Set the date and time of the holiday.

Step 7: Set the number of days the message to be sent to your customers**.
**A positive number will indicate that the message will be sent after that many days after the holiday date, whereas a negative number will indicate the message will be sent before the holiday date.
Eg: 2 means the message will be sent 2 days after the holiday date, -1 means the message is sent 1 day before the holiday date.

Step 8: Select the email the campaign will send its reports to.

Step 9: Click Create.

(E) Modifying a Content of a Really365 Holiday Celebration Campaign.

Step 1: In the Contents page in Really365, click on Modify.

Step 2: Modify the content as you wish.

Step 3: Click Update.

(F) Deleting a Content of a Really365 Holiday Celebration Campaign.

Step 1: In the Contents page in Really365, click on Delete.
